❓ FIRST-TIMER FAQ

New to Possumstock? Welcome to the swamp. Here are the details that make arrival, camping, and festival life a little easier.

When do gates open?
Gates open at 2 PM on Thursday, August 20, 2026. The first music starts at 3 PM.
How does camping work?
Camping spots are first come, first served, so plan accordingly. Areas near the stages fill first; additional camping is available under the bridge on the farther side of the property.
Can I bring food and drinks?
Yes. Outside food and beverages are welcome, but no glass. Five food vendors are also on site, and a Dollar General a short distance from the festival carries most basic necessities.
What happens if it rains?
The show goes on. One stage may need to pause, but another should remain operable through some rain. Artist times can shift if weather requires it, so check festival updates.
Can we kayak or canoe?
Absolutely. Red River Canoe & Campground offers rentals and river services directly through the venue, including floats down the Red River back to Possumstock.
Can I bring an RV or camper?
Yes. Additional power access is $50 per space. Powered spaces are limited and available first come, first served.
Are public bathrooms available?
There is no public bathroom access. Porta-johns are available throughout the festival grounds.
Where can I pick up supplies?
A Dollar General is a short distance from the festival and carries most basic necessities.
Is there a festival app?
Yes. The on-site guide is a free web app with the schedule, site map, set reminders, and info. Add it to your home screen on wifi before you arrive and it works with no signal. Install instructions are here.
🌿 ABOUT POSSUMSTOCK

Possumstock is an annual celebration of the Middle Tennessee underground — a multi-genre, community-driven, riverside music festival bringing together original artists from across northern Middle Tennessee and beyond.

Three days. Three stages. Real fire pits, real mud, real community. Come catch a vibe by the Red River.

The DIY spirit means there is plenty of room for free expression. Build camp art, wear armor, organize a kickball game, bring flow props, or just dance — as long as everyone else's experience stays safe and respected.

Presented by Moon Rooster & Skydaddy. Started as a backyard bash. Still feels like one.

P L U R
Peace · Love · Unity · Respect

We embody PLUR and expect this standard from our community. Disrespect, disruption, or inhibiting someone else's experience will result in removal and a ban from all future events.
